WW - Gruen "Swiss Import" Quadron, manual wind, 24mm x 44mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original platinum Gruen-Weber snap back case with articulating lugs and engraved details on the sides and back, black leather strap, refinished silvered dial with applied ball indices, 17J cal 117 marked EXTRA, gold-plated movement with beautiful engraved detail reminiscent of the 50th anniversary models, s#657161, triple signed. Includes period correct box with paperwork. Gross weight of assembled watch with strap 27.5 dwt (42.8 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to steelwork, plates have become dull and have lost some of their gold-plating; refinished dial with light surface spotting; excellent silver hands; polished case shows very little wear, articulating lugs were originally made with male posts which have since been modified with material to take male spring bars, engraved detail is still crisp in appearance, no dents or dings; crown shows little wear; good glass crystal. Box shows moderate wear due to age.
